Adjust width of mainbody frontpage

Hi.
I have tryed understand how to adjust frontpage (Home) to same width at at the article sides.
Front page is like 2 colums width, while the article is set to 3 colums.
I find out how to easy adjust the article to example 1, 1.5 - 3, 3.5 etc....but not the other wat, meaning....I want to keep the set 3 colum in the article page, and change the home page mainbody to 3 colum sa well.

HOW?

I have read and tryed to understand the:

You can overwrite it with this css:

#gkPage > #gkContent {
    width: 810px !important;
}


but this would require some more changes to responsive layout. Please send me an access to joomla panel so I'll see if this can be adjusted in settings, this way it should be easier and faster.
