a few days ago, on your facebook page https://www.facebook.com/gavickpro i raised the issue that this theme does not quite fit on most tablets on the market today that have an usual resolution of 1024x768.

(it would only fit on iPad 3's Retina display since its resolution is 2048x1536)

unfortunately you banned me from EVER commenting / liking articles on your fb page for pointing out that it doesn't quite fit in 1024x768 (landscape mode) and the page gets clipped on the bottom :(

as a customer that paid for the lifetime joomla subscription (without even using the facebook discount coupon) i feel that your reaction has been overly exaggerated :S  :S

screenshots of the template page in full screen mode on 1024x768:
(posting them as links only because their size messes the forum page layout if embedded)

Hi

I think I know why You have a problem watching it. I believe You are using the link of demo page where template is being displayed in iframe so some interferences are visible from upper page which have different paddings and so on. Please try to see an actual template http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/startup/

the screenshots i made are not contained in an iframe, i simply set the browser window to full screen before capturing the image, that's why there's no browser UI visible

however, even your screenshot shows the same problem with the arrangement of the template: the image is clipped by the bottom edge and the focal point of interest is below the edge (below the fold) and thus cannot be seen properly, giving an impression of a design that's not meant to be used on low-res or mobile devices.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Above_the_fold

not sure about you but for me, while scrolling text with images might be ok, forcing users to scroll down to properly see the heading/leading content of a web site will not make me stay and visit that site, quite the opposite.

In your screenshot the primary point of interest is the orange button but there is also a secondary one, more important for many people: the eyes and the face of the woman that appears in the picture below. In the second and third picture the focus is drawn on the mini tablets and phones, and the focal point falls roughly at middle-down between the two devices.

The focal points of interest of all these images fall out of the bottom of the screen - this is why i said it does not quite fit.

Hi

I wasn't thinking about address bar just the lack of padding on sided I have while chacking in mobile. But You are right about the image and I think this is the only problem, because when image will be smaller to fit the width than it's going to take less space so everything will be pulled up and perfectly fit to fold. Thank You for noticing that, I would say it's a bug of in Image Show module and will report this to programmers now.
