K2 url, "pretty permalinks"

Migrating from WordPress to Joomla I am really surprised to see the url's that Joomla! and some modules / components are generating in the StartUp theme...

My website is http://www.soyuco.nl
If I open one of my "recent projects", the url of the K2 item shows:
http://www.soyuco.nl/component/k2/item/19-icdubo :sick:

instead of www.soyuco.nl/projecten/ICDuBo as I would expect.

Does anyone what the cause of this problem is? I suspect either GK4 or K2

I am open for suggestions, because I need "pretty permalinks" / aliases for my SEO rating!

Hi

Joomla SEF is a limited one, because some links are created by menu, some are made from a component links. As first try to to create more menu links to categories like for example a submenu to a category called Projecten.

But I think this can be a lot of work with lots of categories so I advice to use a 3rd party extension for SEF links.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I will continue building my website, so in the end permalinks should be fine.
Already noticed this by adding "projects" in the menu. Permalinks are built by category, luckily.
In some cases I think individual articles, but I'll just have to add them to the menu too...

Hi

TIP: You can always have a hidden menu. Simply create a new menu which will not be used on the site, but all links build there will be working as this menu is a part of a website
