Update function doesn't work

Hi everybody,
I'm working with a test site in J 3.0.2 and Startup template (http://erregipostnote.altervista.org/).
When I try to use "Joomla update" component or "Update" extensions I get the following message:
500 No HTTP response received.

What I have to do? Thanks a lot!
