Hi,
I tried to create new "items" in K2 component but they doesn't show in the News Show Pro GK4 on the frontend.
I put my new articles in yours category and in new one, nothing changed.

If I copy one of your articles and change the text and the images it shows on home page.

I still non understand where could be the problem...

Thanks

Hi

Ok. I see You have a time problem on Your server. Basicaly articles are being saved with a date and time newer than the server has. Articles will not be visible if server will not pass the time they've been saved as created. It's a know joomla issue happening with specific server configuration. We have prepared a solution for such ocassion :) An offset option in NSP configuration. I've set it to search for articles 12h ahead too.

Hi

Yes I agree, this bug is pretty strange. The core level solution should be to set the same time on server and in joomla settings, unfortunately this is may interfere with articles You have already.

I am having the same issue. I set all article created and publishing date back to 1/1/2013 and also set the offset to +12. My articles are still not showing up in the News Show Pro GK4 module in the bikestore template.

I am having the same problem. I have changed the settings to +12 and nothing happens. If I change the date to yesterday, then the article publishes.

Please help

Hi Teitbite!
Actually the problem is far from resolved. I have thi problem too and the fix you recommend https://www.gavick.com/forums/news-show-pro-gk4/news-show-pro-gk4-not-displaying-latest-article-23156.html?p=110518&hilit=latest#p110518 it's working only when the NSP gets data from all k2 articles by date. The featured items seems to work randomly. Another issue i discovered Its kind of big one. When you schedule an article in K2 Nsp grabs it and shows it, but when you try to read the article fron NSP gk4 it throws 1064 error which is normal.

Can you give us the much nedeed solution to this pesky problem.?

Hi

Sorry, but I have no idea how to solve it. I've learned that using a different module the problem of not displaying artcles is the same and NSP is only forcing it to show with time offset, but K2 component is still not allowing it to show becuase of the date difference. So it's nothing in NSP what can be done to fix it. It's more of a server issue I believe or a joomla with a time to publish and time NOW.

Hello guys, sorry for resurrect this 1/2 year old tread but maybe someone have the same problems by now and this information may be helpful.

As some early posts said the problem is the server/joomla time conflict.

First look upon the start publishing date and the creation date of your articles in k2.

If they have a future date, set them to the past.

That fix the problem.

The solution by teitbite was "An offset option in NSP configuration. I've set it to search for articles 12h ahead too."

Hi

Yes this is a way to fix it, but it's more like a server and database time difference. K2 saves articles using database time and module only can use a server time.
