Hi all
stage server: http://www.zitrone.com.au/subsite_44/

I am half way into building this site. I now want to add a shop to it.

Some of the information I have come accross so far make me think that I will run into all kind of problems, but maybe others have tried... ... I appreciate all comments.

Some points
++++++++++++

I have used the Joomla 3.x CMS, so this is in regards to the appropriate template.
I have noticed that the Gavick templates that come with a build in shop explicitly state that the shop only works on the Joomla 2.x version. (yeah that point so bad news...)

When looking around for different shops and playing with the checkout facility of the shop I notices that not a single one was able to handle responsive design. UPS!
Most list the shopping cart as a table, and when you look at that on a iPhone, bad things are happening.

So if anybody can point me towards some solutions in that area... Thank you very much

My advise is to switch to J!2.5 at the beginning, you will not find many ecommerce extensions for J!3, especially when VirtueMart and redSHOP still supports only J!2.5.

Hi

Unfortunately I do not know which shop will be responsive as first. You need to check this on your own. But if you cannot wait than use any possible and I'll try to help you with responsive styling if there will not be a lot of work.

Hi

Ok. Looks promising, but I'm afraid You will not find many modules supporting this component. Anyway it's worth trying.
