I'm having issues installing. I've tried 2.5 and 3.1 but both have the same problem.

Once I click on 'install' when installing Joomla, it times out. This is obviously some kind of database issue but i have no idea what the problem is - I've tried repairing the database through cpanel and this doesn't help. I've installed quite a few 'quick start' templates from Gavick in the same way before and I've never encountered a problem.

Please can you help?

Many thanks!

While installing J3.x on last (3rd) step, do You have any information about suggested server settings that are not met (display_errors for example)?

As You can see display_errors suggested is off and actual is on - You need to ask your hosting provider how to turn it off.

Ok, I've successfully installed Boutique (Joomla 2.5) using the same settings/database type etc on another site. This leads me to believe that there may be an issue with the latest 'Startup Quick Start' files?

Thanks!

No, its common problem with some of sites, where database is quite big. Disable display_errors and everything will work fine.
Beside that, meeting joomla requirements is easiest way to get rid of all errors and troubles.
