Hi, hope someone can help...

I've removed and updated ISGK4 to current version 1.36, in the hope of getting images to display on my header slideshow (like in startup-demo, with the mac, iphones, etc...).
I went to 'Module Manager: Module mod_image_show_gk4 > 'Options' > 'Your slides' > and inputted the paths to png files i want displayed, but no image is displayed. (note, content type set to 'text')

My setup - Ubuntu 13.04 with joomla running off the local server; I've followed up similar issues on the forums so far, and have cleared cached (deleted it even) and re-installed k2 module, but no joy.

Its almost as though ISGK4 with this 'startup' template is hardcoded to take the 3 specific {greyed-out} images from its local cache directory,

Any help/assist would be most welcome...

TIA P!

I've done some fruther investigation via viewing source with Firebug which shows the missing image in slide show should be "alt="#2" src="http://localhost/modules/mod_image_show_gk4/cache/gk-is-126">"

When i go into that dir and rename an image file to "gk-is-126" then that image is now displayed in slideshow.

This now looks like bug to me since ISGK4 ignores the file path i set for image files looks for specific file in cache dir. In fact even when i do not set a path (or clear path) for image file to be used with slideshow,ISGK4 just selects gk-is-126.

Can this bug be quickly addressed??

P!
For good measure I cleared the image locat

Did you notice that that image name doesn't contain a format? It should be gk-is-12.jpg or something else.

Hey Don,

I'm not a 100% certain but I think the file had a png extension...
In any case, I've come to the realisation that J!3.x is waay to early for me and have settled down with J!2.5 (which incidentally does'nt have this bug on 'startup25' template).

cheers
P!

Yes that's a good move. I've seen a lot of bugs in this module for Joomla 3 as well.
