How to update startup template

I would like to update the startup template without losing everything I've built so far. Would anyone be able to please walk me through the steps?

I already know to go to template manager and to click on the update link, but I am not sure which files to download through extensions manager.

Hi,

In your case you have to download the template package from our server and compare it manually using winmerge (windows) or file merge (mac os x) or similar tools to apply changes in the files.

Hi,
1) Make a full backup of your website (Akeeba Backup)
2) Download "gk_startup_J!3.zip" [DOWNLOAD]
from: https://www.gavick.com/download/joomla- ... artup.html
3) Use Extension Manager to install new version of template, you don't have to unistall old

p.s.
If you made some customization in template files, you have to copy them from your backup.
