I've spent the better part of four months getting familiar with both gavick templates and Joomla to find out in the end that it will not work with phonegap software.

We were planning to fast build the site with Joomla/gavick, and then use custom coded integration to work across any operating system (phonegap). Now I've realized we are completely stuck, unless I can retrieve raw html, css, javascript files from startup template.

I know that Joomla renders html, css, javascript through php, but would a tool like firebug, or snappysnippet work to view the output and file structure on my browser?

Basically I've designed every thing with Joomla/gavick and now need to transfer the frontend to classic html, css, javascript files.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would still use gavick for design, since your templates ate amazing, I just need to convert them to workable files for phonegap.

Hi,

If I understand - you need to convert the php-based website to static html? If yes, you will have to use some page downloaders to achieve it, there is no other way in my opinion.
