Hey,

I dont have an error page. http://postimg.org/image/uur5pm25z/

Googled it, joomla! have its own documentation, but it says copy error.php from the templates/system directory, to template directory. But there is a file named error.php in templates/startuptemplate.

I have modified error.php in the templates/startuptemplate WITHOUT copying error.php from system directory, but still dont have an error page.

Downloaded The Qlue 404 extension component/plugin. It is not working either.

What to do folks :silly: :silly:

Please try if it works fine on default Beeze template - if so it means somehow it is connected to you server configuration.

As Cyberek suggested, i have changed my websites template to Beez3, and i still don't have a 404 page. when i type a url that my website dont have, i get the same page : http://postimg.org/image/uur5pm25z/

Qlue 404 custom component not working either.

Now, what would you suggest?

I would suggest to contact your hosting company support as this might be server configuration issue.

Now i have a 404 error page, but i cant make it custom. Qlue 404 component still not working, but at least i have this: http://postimg.org/image/51ygh5q5r/

This is default startup 404 error page I think. How can i make my logo look small or erase it completely? (it looks way bigger than it is, picture above)

And how can I add other index links like default "homepage", "contact webmaster" etc.?

I have searched templates/gk_startup/error.php but there are bunch of codes that i dont wanna mess up :)

THANKS

You need to do it on trial&error basis. 404 template uses translation keys that are stored in translation files. Beside that it is pure html.php.
