Front end editor not opening

When logging in to the front end, I click on the famous pencil and paper icon to edit an article on the front end and no editor displays. I am running Joomla 2.5.9 with the Publisher template version 3.8.

Tested this in local server and it is working fine. Can you please post a link to your website and create a test account where we can check this error.

You should make sure that you have enabled Frontend editor in K2 configuration.
