Hello all,
Today I wanted to try a clean install for the template "News," then I downloaded the file "gk_news_J! 3.zip", the file "gk_news_rest_files_J! 3.zip" for other plugins and after I downloaded and installed the content extension “K2”.
Now when I go into the back-end also displays the screen with the controls of K2 (see the attachment). My question is: for the inclusion of content I must use the Joomla’s command or the K2 command? What do you recommend?

Hi,
On your place I will start from this: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/su ... oomla-3-1/

But to be honest, in theory for you and your clients using standard articles are better, but they don't have comments system buit-in, so you have to use additional component or plugin. Second, probably K2 items looks more attractive - because GK developers like to promote it in templates, so not all modules which will use standard arteries (not K2 items) will look so perfect.

:!: Every choice has its advantages and disadvantages :!:

Hello OscarE,
after I read your reply I tried the K2 functions and when I entered in the first Article I found many function very very
interesting that do not exist in Joomla. I think that from now on I will use only K2 :D
For that I thank you very much.
