Having issues configuring template

Hi,

I installed the quickstart and even if the site is not working (full of Deprecated: Non-static method NSP_GK4_Utils::cutText() messages, which I have searched and tried everything and can't waste more time in this), I can see the setup in the administrator.

I can see that the News quickstart template:

1. Has more colors than the template I installed.
2. I see something in features like "Positions style override" which is not in the template.
3. I see a bunch of extensions installed, but can't figure out which I need to install or create.

Went through your documentation and can't even put together this.

Don't you have something graphical to configure the positions of the template? Other companies have this feature where you can design the positions.

I mean clicking buttons and modifying code manually is not really a good way.

What about the refreshed zip file?

Just overwrite whatever is the installation directory?

I can see that could be the way, but can't find any document to just indicate it.

Also what is going on with all the modules "mod_news_pro_gk4"?

I downloaded the News Template, what is this this mod_news_pro_gk4 ?

Where are all these mod_news_pro_gk4 modules?

As you can see in the images attached, even the template looks different. I purchased the one in red. The black on is the quickstart I downloaded.

I am running a Joomla 3 site. It seems that the quickstart package you assigned to me for download is incorrect.

And also didn't have any graphic way to design the positions.

There are 3 templates called: "News", "News 2" and "News Refreshed". The "red" one You are reffering to is called "News Refreshed". It's a different version of "News" template, that's why it can be found in the same dowload area: https://www.gavick.com/download/joomla-themes/news

I'm afraid we cannot include images because of law restrictions, but in rest_files package You will be able to find .psd file with some icons/graphics.

I know there are 3 templates. After all my questions and after 4 posts, this is your response?

I mean, I already applied the refreshed version and I see the "red" version, the point of this forum is that I am trying to follow the quickstart and doesn't match, even though I applied the refreshed quickstart.

Read the post. There are more questions. There are a bunch of modules I see in the quickstart and not in the template.

I don't really have too much time to deal with this, I had to spent almost a weekend trying to figure out how to fix some many messages about : full of Deprecated: Non-static method NSP_GK4_Utils::cutText() and even though I went through all the messages posted in these forums it is still sending those.

I could not know which of Your questions are still valid if You've been trying different templates.

If Your refund request didn't went through yet and You still want to try with this template just send me an access to FTP, URL and database access and I'll install it for You.
