LOGIN SITE IMPOSSIBLE!!

Please help me again...

After have had the user registration working, my new users are rightly added to the joomla users list and the k2 users list.
The user receive the email for the conformation and he can confirm the account.
But when someone engages to login the system answers back "you cannot login to the private site area" and no way to arrive inside the site.

Having worked around I saw that in the Global Configuration/Permission of the Registered user (that is the default, even if the same trouble appears in all the status users) the "login site" permission reports a denied, conflict message.

Would you mind to help me?
I need my users reach the site and comment the articles and I also need that some special user, with the status of publisher, can fill up a blog.

How to go on? I'm really desperate...
