Hello forum,

I recently migrated my website from 2.5 to 3.0. Now I am new to joomla 3.0. I purchased the Gavick Game Magazine template and updated the template to be compatible with joomla 3.0. My question is, how can I edit the Game Magazine template like on joomla 2.5. When I click on the Template Manager tab, I then click on gk_game_magazine - Default. Then it takes me to Template Manager: Edit Style page but its only showing me this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0ad2c8efc6

Also, modules arent showing even when they are already enabled and selected to show on the frontpage.

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance

Did you remove old template and install new one dedicated to Joomla! 3? It looks like something goes wrong during the update because on this screenshot you should see template settings. Please try to reinstall this product.

Hello bkrztuk,

I tried doing what you said to uninstall the template and installing it back again. But I still have the same problem. It shows the same thing as the image link. :pinch:

Could you make a small test,
install one of ours new templates maybe GK Mo or GK Game - and check if you will see back-end of them, only for J3.2 of course !!
Thanks.

I recently migrated my website from 2.5 to 3.0.

by the way you have joomla 3.0 or Joomla 3.2.2 right now installed ? I hope you upgrade to current version of Joomla, not to old one. :?:
This might be a reason why all not working.

Hello Pawel,

So far none of both things you told me to do worked. First I downloaded the GK Game template, I then installed it on my Joomla 3.2.2 website and it is showing the same thing http://awesomescreenshot.com/0572cfu9c2 Then I made sure I had the latest joomla version 3.2.2 and I do. What should I do now? I have no idea what to do at this point.

It looks like JS conflict or hmm ?
If I can get access to your back-end I can check ....

what plugin do you have installed - maybe one of them makes so mess.

Hello Pawel,

Thanks for your reply. I fixed the template problem. It was a plugin error. The template is working fine now except that the modules aren't showing even though the modules are enabled:

Backend: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0322d58zcf
Front end: http://awesomescreenshot.com/01b2d58j1f

What could be the problem?

You think about modules on "Sidebar" position ?
But there are typical most of them are Custom HTMl modules, so maybe they are wrong assigned ?
Set them to Assign to all sites, so you will see them. One by one - and check each time,

Code: Select all

Empty no screenshot :(
