I agree, this is one I really wish a 1.5 version existed for, even without the ImageShow component.

Actually Gavick.com makes templates only for joomla 1.7.

Actually this is only the 2nd template from Gavick to be exclusively 1.7+ but this switch has more to do with their own Gavern framework with is 1.6+ based. Some recent templates were released using both the Gavern 1.7 versions and T3 1.5 versions.
Like a lot of people I'm eager to move to 1.7 and even though this is going to cost a lot of time and money to update various custom components and migrate existing database tables I'm firmly on that track. A 1.5 version of the GK Boutique template may have delayed the inevitable for another few months, but I think most of us are getting on the 1.7 (and 1.8) train.
