Site Fonts not changing?

I checked out the wiki first but so far I have not been able to get any fonts to change via the Template Manager > Fonts. In fact - Arial is the default font but everything on the front-end is in a serif font (not sure if it's times).

I tried using Google fonts, changing font settings and clearing the cache, etc... and nothing works.

I went into layout.css and hard coded a font-family in but this seems to defeat the whole fonts control set-up in the Gavern framework?

Am I missing something with using the fonts tool in the template manager? Do you have to put in exact css classes for each "selectors?" Does this only work in browsers that support CSS3?

Just make sure you follow below when changing fonts.

You have 2 boxes to make selections. 1st box is a font type, 2nd box is the font itself.

Choose font type from first box.
From second box choose another font not the one you want then Save & Close.
Then again from second box choose your chosen font.
Save & Close again...
