Error in section K2 user groups and Extra fields

Please when i clink on tab user groups or extra fields then:

This seems to be an issue of K2, please make sure that you have installed the component properly!

i installed complete from your gk_boutique_quickstart_J!17.zip. When i unzipped was some problem with replace file... i dont know why.... you try download form your server and then unzipped.

The QuickStart worked just fine for me. What was exactly the problem you saw when installed? Can you make the installation again or PM me FTP access then I can try it for you?

I have no idea why it asked you to replace files while extracting the package, it might be a problem of 7-zip. You can try doing it again by using default unzip program of Windows http://www.microsoft.com/resources/docu ... x?mfr=true

I am sorry but the first moment I thought of you doing fun ?,,,, course I tried it and here is the same as I expected. Please check your files or to ask some other advice.

I have downloaded and installed it without errors as most of users have done. If possible please submit a ticket to provide me with your FTP access, database access (cPanel access as well) then I will try installing it for you.

Please control your file on server. I try download more template all quickstart. Coffe 1.5 same problem, Coffe 1.7 without problem, Folio 1.7 problem. I open file and problem is that you have same file in a directory. Different is only lower and upper type but for Windows system is same file.... and i dont know that component K2 need both of them file .. etc.. usergroup.php and userGroup.php

Thanks for telling me know the cause of the issue. However we can't touch to edit any K2 files. I'm using Windows too but somehow I don't get the issue in my machine. You can try uploading the zip file to your hosting then use file manager of hosting service to unzip it to install as well.

Just for info.
I also use windows system, only thing is while extracting the zip file WinRAR asks me that files do exists and whether i should replace them.

I've tried both, replacing them and not replacing them and both cases template and K2 works fine.

I dont know if you've found a fix for this already, but this worked for me.
Change the extrafield php file names so they are all in lower case

extrafield.php
extrafields.php
extrafieldsgroup.php
extrafieldsgroups.php

file location - /public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/controllers/
