Search Results from Search Box issue.

I think because the MainBody Frontpage setting is “MainBody only” setting in the Template settings… which is done to get the nice look this template has… the search box doesn’t work as the results don’t have the content component to post to… how do we get around that… so in other words, when you do a search… it just goes back to the home page which doesn’t have any search results. I would like to have search results... also, dont want an article on home page when search isnt done, which is what occurs if you add a component element under the MainBody Frontpage setting. Thanks

I'm pretty sure You can attache a search results page to any menu item, but please show me Your site first.

site is on a demo server... cant release it... no need to look at it.. i explained the situation... the content component has been excluded in the templates settings for the front page... the search results use that component... its a simple (if I could remember it) fix, tomacsz told me before but I forgot and cant find the email he sent.

I created a menu item with search results linking to it and hoping it would send it to that... didnt work... any other ideas?

I'm affraid I need to see the site. Like You can see search is working on demo http://demo.gavick.com/joomla16/sep2011 ... com_search so maby seeing the issue will tell me what is wrong.
