Copy of Main Menu for Registered users not working

I am trying to make a copy of the main menu that came with the Boutique template so that i can have different menu items and pages for registered users. I am unable to make a copy of it and have it appear when a registered user logs in... I have done this with other Joomla template installs... Does anyone know how I can do this with the Boutique template?

The menu is a part of template structure that's not a module nor something, double the menu may cause some conflicts with javascript code, also may requires much customization, and this is not supported.
