GK BOUTIQUE Quickstart DON'T WORK

Hi,

I've tryed to install GK Boutique quickstart in Joomla for twelve times and all tiem I got the same alert:


Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've tryed all logic ideas: Install again, check permisions folders, update template, update joomla, etc. But all tiem is the same conclusin GK BOUTIQUE DON'T WORK.

Please a pay and register for this template. I need the template works.

Steps:
1) I upload "gk_boutique_quickstart_J!17.zip" to "public_html".
2) Descompress "gk_boutique_quickstart_J!17.zip" on "public_html".
3) Installing without problems, Admin part is OK, but when I try go to the website is down.

The hosting is my VPS Hosting and I never have another problems.
I think there are some problems with some pages or the article system in this template.

I tryed this:
1) Change another template, the same website with your quickstart information works fine.
2) Then I go to another link of the web diferent to home link, and change to Gk_Boutique, Then works fine.

It worked for me in local machine, but during zip extraction, I got the message "this file exists, Overwrite?". I clicked Yes to all. It works until now.

Please tell me Your server specification. Maby PHP version is not sufficient for some extentions.

I've never had such problem, but I've seen unpacking on the server issues. Try maby unpack it on Your computer and copy files than.

Sorry really I erase de website for update the files again by ftp like you say.

About your first words, I have a VPS hosting with PHP5 and MYSQL5, I never have problems with this in all my websites.
I ask to my provider about any change there was in the server,and he say me all is ok. In the other hand all my templates of another website are working fine.Like I said you if I change de template the website (with your boutique files), the website works.

Really I think is a problem about the content in home o blog. My server is working OK, and de permisions in all websites have a good configuration recommend.

Yes I suspect an interference from content as well. There were no other reports of such behaviour with any of our templates. Also the the key to the issue can be unsufficient PHP version. Personally I'm always using the latest version possible, but remember problems with some module at clients sites who had PHP version lower than 5.2.14. Please check this information in joomla panel informations.

I think the php version of my server is fine. I speak with spanish jomla developer, and say is good version.

I detected the orign problem, It's a problem of module "News Show Pro GK4" with the template. Really I find some new about similar problems but I can`t find the solution.

In your quickstart there are four files making error in the template in module mode: Normal and Accordion:
There is: "Sales", "Sales 2", "Sales IIa" and "New collection". The files of the same module "NSP GK4 suffix nsp", "Tab1", "Handbags" looks fine in first moment.

The module position "Normal", make:

I would like very much if you can give me a solution for it, I like this template very much, but I need go with this work, and If I cant use this tempalte, I need to take the template of another provider.

I was able to log to panel and check PHP version used on server. It's pretty old

PHP Version    5.2.9


and like I've said I was suspecting it. It's worth to check and update it anyway. It takes 5 minutes and may change everything.

( Sorry, I forget to say my provider say me my PHP version is 5.2.9)
I could order to update for PHP 2.3, but a I think isn't the problem because the same modul works in other files. I'm sorry but this level escape to me.

I'm not saying PHP update will help definitly but I've seen a lot of problems which was handled this way. Also I see You are keeping all modules in top versions so why not a system modules are written in. What if one of new module feature will use some new PHP function which Your version will not support? All You need to do is to ask Your host provider to do it for You.

Really I going to update PHP in my server. I really something afraid about it because there are some websites in this VPS Hosting, with video live streaming, etc. I hope the update don't crash another services more important.
I use a lot of joomla templates and I only had similar problem one time with one Beta component.

OK. I going to do it. I hope run. If it isn't I think I give up and change to another way.

I've never got problems after updating PHP. So I believe nothing bad will happen.

Finally I will prefer not update PHP because I haven't another problems about this.

My server support had detected there was in the server a php module making problems with the template, They have disable it and The template is working fine.
