Boutique 2.5 Quick install error

I am trying to do a quickstart install of Boutique 2.5, and keep getting this error message:

Could not connect to the database. Connector returned number: 2

Have deleted and installed the database 3 times now.

Any ideas?

PS Did the quick installation because boutique was not showing correctly when I updated from 1.7 to 2.5.

I tried the fresh install of the quick installation package because whenever I tried to edit the Image Show GK4ver. 1.22 - either the position or to install a new slide, got a "greyed out" screen, and couldn't complete the task (screen image attached). Thought a fresh installation might fix that, but can't seem to accomplish that either!

PS Did the quick installation because boutique was not showing correctly when I updated from 1.7 to 2.5.

I had the same problem and I did something similar when installing J2.5. I thought a found a solution by installing j1.7 and upgrade to j2.5, but finally it did not work.

What I did to allow me work is I edited the mod_image_show_gk4/admin/elements/slidemanager.php and I removed the readonly attributes of the text field (lines 54 and 44). So at least I can now insert the image manually.
