Quick Installation Package

I am just a begginers in Joomla. I am trying to install the Boutique Quick Installation package into Joomla 2.5 on my PC instead of putting everything online. I have readed the tutorials on the wiki but doesn't help me in this case, since I don't wanna work online at the mom. So, what is exactly the process to follow in this case ? I have already created my database with all privilegies and installed Joomla 2.5. Tried to install the package from the extension manager but the process starts then quit with no answer after less than 10 seconds. Maybe 'cause it's too big in MB ? Need to setup something else ? I know, probably it's a dummie question, please be patient.

I have also setup this in the PHP file:

max_execution_time=300
upload_max_filesize=200M

I added also the post_max_size = 10M and changed the EasyPHP to the 5.3.0 (the latest version does not work for me). At this point the installation begins, and terminated with "installation successfull" message but no installation was performed: don't know why exactly, maybe goes "on" the max execution time (I have changed it to 3000 and added to 100 the post_maz_size, just trying now). It's starts but at some point seems to freeze: tha hard disk is still working but the counter, the internet explorer's download meter at the bottom, after 5 blocks, stopped to go ahead.

Any solution or workaround ?

Thanks for the kind answer. I saw that guide before and I was using it to upload everything online (and worked). The problem is that I need to install the quick package OFFLINE (on my PC) using EasyPHP. In the link you gave me there is no solution for this. Even copy and past the administrator dir inside my www/joomla dir doesn't help.

Probably this is impossible to make this that way, you can install only template if you have Joomla installation via extension manager.
