News_pro_gk4 module remains constant on all pages(HELP!)

OK guys,First off, i do know how to select and how to show the modules on each individual pages. Thats the frustrating part(i wish it would work that way!) and i would never be here asking for help. here is the site: http://www.spray-tees.com/.
If you click on one of the product tshirts you will see what i mean. To me its either that the index.php is overwriting or somehow redirecting the site to open it through the home page.
Also if you go in through the men's category(underneath the slide show) and then pick a product in (tshirts only everything else is empty) everything is fine .
I don't know.it was working fine, i installed (jce. optimizer) and everything went to hell. of course its uninstalled now.
I have just about fixed everything, except this. if someone could shed some light on the subject or point me in the right direction i would be very grateful.

As far as i can see everything is working as you have setup
Here is what you need to do: Set modules to certain pages only specially in this case home page only. You can have other modules in right position in other pages but current module styles belongs to home page only.

Here is how you set modules to pages.
Login to joomla admin panel.
Extensions > Modules Manager.
Now you should see all the modules in your website. Active modules will have a tick mark in status column. Get used to this screen as you will use it a lot.
Now we have to identify the modules as there are no titles in front end. If you know them by names you see in your module list then go ahead and jump to "Assigning Module Positions to pages ".

If you don't know which modules is which few things we can check. Look on right hand side and you will see filters with dropdown boxes. These filters down module list such as list active or list disabled ones or show only certain module positions e.g Header1 module position or show only certain types e.g Image Show GK4 and so on.

So for our example click on "Select Position" and choose "Header1" and you should get one or two modules in the list. Don't forget to set "Select Position" to "Select Position" again to see other modules again or simply click on reset button.

Assigning Module Positions to pages:

I supposed you have find the module, For our example i will be editing module in Header1 position which is slideshow module.

Click on it to edit settings. Now you are in Module settings page.
On left hand side you will see settings for that module.
Scroll down and you will see "Menu Assignment".
Find "Module Assignment" and choose "Only on the pages i selected" for this example.
Click on "Main Menu" Tab and you will probably see ticked check boxes. Now click on "Clear Selection" which is on right to clear all of them.
Click and tick "Home" checkbox only.
Now "Save & Close" module settings.
What we done now is our slideshow will only show in homepage or when home button is clicked.

Do the same with your other modules.

Yeah that is what i was trying to say in the beginning of the post, i know that if you click on home "it will show on the home page and if i click on the product it will show on the product page,so on and so on.

But.........that is not the case.
It is selected just on the home page,and News_pro_gk4 module is on header 1 position of the frame work. got it.
Now the problem is that, like i was saying on the original post:

If you look at it via "that way" you would notice that the News_pro_gk4 module doesn't show nor does any of the other modules.
It just show's the product veiw the way it was intended.
I have updated and reinstalled the News_pro_gk4 module to no avail.

If all menu assignments are correct then you are having menu link problem which is a common problem in joomla if a category does not have a menu item.

This category could be anything, from joomla articles to k2 articles etc.
See this example.
Suppose we have following k2 categories. ( Articles, movies, images, music or products they don't matter.)

Products
Products > Mens Clothing ( K2 Category )
Products > Mens Clothing > T Shirts ( K2 Sub Category )
Products > Mens Clothing > Jeans ( K2 Sub Category )

So lets say we have a News Show Pro GK4 module displaying items from these categories. if we don't have a menu item as well for at least "Mens Clothing" category then either links will not work or your module assignments will not work so it will still display in other pages.

I ll wait for your next reply then we can check few items in your setup.

as a matter of fact to test the catagory theory, i changed the data feed of the News_pro_gk4 module to
the k2 stock articles , and wahla!
no problems. it forwards to the page with out keeping the modules there.
the site is back up, try going through the( men )"button under the news slider and choose t shirts and you will see there's no problems through the red shop .

Also i forgot to mention,lol
Yes the products are contained into catagories.

Hmm unusual setup of menus : )

Most of your items are giving 404 error. Can you go to Menu Manager then on right click on "rebuild".

lol,sorry i havent assigned products to the nav bar catagories
but for sanitys sake i can turn them off.
I did as you said and rebuilt the menus.
Do you think the problem lies in the News_pro_gk4 or the css/php/xml possibly?
Or do you really think this has to do with a menu/category conflict?

Yeah i know it an unusual set up of menus but when you are in the custom airbrush business and i have over 4000+ photos, a niche market and everybody want something different. trust me work one day in my store and you will see why i have so many different menus,lol

I believe it is to do with menu > category link. In your case make sure following items works.

"T-shirt" Main Menu item
"Men" Sub menu item of T-Shirt

I believe that would stop all of your errors. For test purpose just create a new article call it anything and just link T-Shirt main menu item to that article. Let me know how it goes.

Edit: You already have a working link for T-shirts which is below. So make sure main menu item is connected with below link. if its a K2 category or RedShop category just make sure to choose it in T-Shirts Main Menu item settings.
