Quick start will not load page

I downloaded the quickstart and I cannot get joomla to view the site. I have re-installed 3 times and downloaded twice. I can't find any corruption... anyone have idea's.

I did notice the database is huge with Acy, Redshop and Virtualmart tables on in one.

I am running on a local host using MAMP.

Did you get any error or warning message ? Please also check joomla/server error log. On our wiki you can find step by step tutorial how to use quickstart package - maybe this will help you to go through this process properly.
