virtuemart parent category menu link messes up footer area

Joomla 2.5.5
Virtuemart 2.0.6

When I make a menu link to a VM Category display to a category that has sub categories, the footer area gets all screwed up. The footer menu is no longer in the footer_nav position below the main page as it should be.

Please see this: http://acrossfab.com/j25/index.php/test

If I link to VM front page or to a specific product, nothing weird happens.

Since installing the Quickstart I have made no hacks or adjustments other than making room for a larger logo. But as I said, all pages except for when I link directly to a virtuemart category with subcategories, look fine.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,
Elias

I updated the template to 2.9.1 released 3 days ago. Problem still remains here:
http://acrossfab.com/j25/zh/

But the footer looks ok here:

Thanks!

Any ideas how to solve this? What is messing up the CSS? What is conflicting?

I don't if i understood your question the right way...

That's what i did: i disabled the template override in the template folder. After that, the footer behaved normal.

I tried to fix it for myself, but unfortunately my solution does not work, yet

So, i think i've got it:
Got to gk_boutique\html\com_virtuemart\category\default.php
Uncomment line 129 <div class="browse-view"> and the closing </div> on line 281

Seems to work for me now.
