how do I make an update right?

is on 2.9.1 Boutique

now i will update to 2.11
Must i go step by step also 2.9.1 -> 2.10 -> 2.10.1 -> 2.11 ?
and where i get the diffrent updates files ?

i can only download 2.11

I have try it by copy with ftp....so my site looks diffrent...

sorry.. I can not find any instructions

who can help me for an instructions?

If you haven't done any changes to template files or css files then simply download latest version and then overwrite your template folder.

If you have done changes to template files then I am afraid you have to compare files / folders and merge them with your changes.

If you are making changes note your changes down with filename/ line number / changes from / changed to.

This way you can re-do your changes if there is a major template update.

For css changes add all your css changes to override.css file and when you are updating your template simply do not transfer override.css file from updated template package.
