I have installed the template quick start files and I have updated vm2 to the latest latest version.
I have disabled the registration at checkout.
However, when I add a product to cart it is not added.

You can view an example here:

Hi

Please do not post access here. This forum is public.

About Your issue, please downgrade to VM 2.0.10. This version of template does not support the latest VM version. Programmers are working on it, so new release should be available soon.

I downgraded as you suggested. Everything worked fine.
Now that I have moved the site live I am getting an jquery error and the recalculation for the product price doesn't occur and the add to cart button doesn't work again!!

You can view the problem here

Everything is working fine at my dev url

Hi

Are You sure everything is working fine on the site withing different location ? Any differences between this sites ? If not I would suggest to move it one more time, maybe some files got broke during uploading.

If this will not work, send me an access to joomla panel. I'll check javascript settings.

I have used akeeba backup for the transfer. I have done this numerous times and I know settings don't change. I would appreciate it if you could take a look
I will email you login info.

Hi

I think the cart issue is because of a conflict with superfish script loading on Your site. Please try to disable it and check than.

It was the only change I did at the live site. You are right the rotator is only at the front page. I have to look at the code.

Hi

Unfortunately javascript conflicts are very common. The best way to stay out of it is to use extensions made in the same js framework.

When I run firebug in firefox I am getting the following error:
Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.

I have done a little search and it is facebook js that gives me this error.
I was viewing the site with http://www.importsofdistinction.com.au

When I typed http://importsofdistinction.com.au there was no js conflict.

How did this happen? How can I fix this so it only loads http://importsofdistinction.com.au ?

Hi

I do not know about this fb issue, but it's not a conflict for sure. I think You need to ask fb developers.

About adding to cart I've found that it was a disabled "Using the VirtueMart jQuery" option in VM configuration, so basically a script for cart was not loaded at all. I've enabled it and looks like it's working now.
