K2 articles view problem

I want to put a on page with the news. I tried to do with the form K2 but I notice the following problems:
The article appears in its entirety and not just a part and then read more ...
I would like to see the following display:
main article 1 column - secondary items in under 2 columns - in other articles in 2 or 3 columns
Unfortunately, I always show the items in a column one after the other.

Can you help? you have examples or instructions on how to set the page or K2 Boutique?

You can use video in K2 items by using an AllVideo plugin.

About the layout. I think it was designed to be displayed in column, to You need to break that bound. Please go to /html/com_k2/default and rename category.php to _category.php . This will force using of a standard K2 file where columns settings are supported.

Looking at the code I see that each article is set to be displayed in full width column. Please check Your category settings in K2 and paste a screenshot with this settings here.

Ok. I'm lost now No worry. Lets start form the beginning.

- In menu manager set a menu item with a type of k2 category view
- attach it to one category
- in k2 category options please select to have 1 column for lead articles and number of articles as one. Primary to 2 columns, etc....
