Large images and ask a question are not opened in a lightbox

Hi,

I'm currently working on a new fashion website (Joomla 2.5.8 and Virtuemart 2.0.16), for which I'm using the Boutique template (2.14.1), but have encountered an issue with the large images for products in the shop. These images usually open in a lightbox when clicked on, but do not open in a lightbox on the new site. The image is opened as a new page within the same browser tab, which is a template issue/conflict with jscript (jQuery!?), according to the Virtuemart developers. A screenshot of the current large image display can be foudn in the attached zip file. The same applies for the 'ask a question' functionality, which also opens a new page in the same browser window for the new site. The recommend to a friend functionality however does work (screenshot can be found in the attached zip file).

I have the same issue on another website using the GavickPro yourShop template, but was not able to find a solution myself. I don't have the issue on websites using templates from other suppliers, so it could indeed be a template related issue, as suggested by a Virtuemart developer.

Can anyone help me out on this?

Did you enable the jQuery scripts in VirtueMart settings ? Are you sure that template is updated to version for VirtueMart 2.0.16 ? (it is latest available update).

I've tested the functionality with the VM jQuery functionality both enabled and disabled, but unfortunately with the same result (large images on the product details page are not displaying properly, but I noticed they do display correct in the category view). The template is up to date (2.14.1).

Could you check whether the same happen on 'Beez' ? Did you look at browser console ? It is clean or some errors are visible ?
