Mobile Testing

Hi guys,

I'm having trouble setting up and testing the mobile version of the template.

In the template parameters I have changed the settings to load the iphone version when loads up on iphone.
When viewing on the iphone it loads up as expecting pulling in a K2 category.

Normally when testing the iphone template I change the default desktop theme to iphone aswell. This makes it faster to change and edit. I have done this plenty of times and works a treat.

Now for some reason on this particular website when testing the iphone teme on desktop computer it loads with normal header/logo etc but no content... Just a blank page. Looking at the code it's showing
Code: Select all
<div class="blog-featured"> </div>
even though I have set it in the mobile menu to pull in K2 category.

It works on actual iphone fine but not desktop. I have done this on plenty of times before... For some reason it's showing the default coniguration....

Any ideas!?

Thanks in advance...

Just a quick update on this...

On the website front-end when I click on the menu and click 'home' the K2 category loads as it should!

It just appears that on initial load the site is not showing the K2 category...

Hope that helps....

Managed to solve this. See reason below incase anybody else has same problem hope this helps....

I basically had the desktop website made up from a mixture of modules with the template set to load the component not articles. Even though I had selected a K2 blog item in the Mobile menu it was defaulting to the main menu 'home' which was set to show 'featured articles'.

Changing the main menu item to K2 blog category now loads the mobile menu showing the blog but leaves the homepage as it was just showing modules...

God that was as difficult to explain as work out... Hope it helps someone out there!

Cheers.

Hi

You're right. I do not understand what was the problem :) If You want me to take a look please "breake" it one more time and show me Your site. Maybe I'll figure out what's wrong with it.
