Loading a nonexistent page as home page

Hello (And sorry for my bad english)
An aggressive bot is trying to load an nonexistent page in my web; if I put the URL the web shows me the Home page.

¿How can I do for not showing the home page?

The URL is: /2011-08-04-23-47-02/k2-categories/mens-clothing/item/33-dolce-gabbana-fall-winter-collection/33-dolce-gabbana-fall-winter-collection%3Fstart%3D30

Nevertheless /2011-08-04-23-47-02/k2-categories/mens-clothing/item/ go to 404 error
However /2011-08-04-23-47-02/k2-categories/mens-clothing/item/"Number between 1 and 50" go Home Page


I have unistalled the K2 component

A month ago I had installed the template for joomla 2.5 and now I've it in joomla 3.0 (removing all databases and all directories for a clean installation) because a "hack" cloaking by the comments in k2 component without captcha

I've checked Your site, but the only broken links are being added to content. Like for example this one:

secciones/disfraces/carnaval/infantil

while a correct link You can access via menu is:

secciones/disfraces/carnaval/carnaval-inf

Hello, I chek the links and correct it (that was beacuse I cant change de alias of the articles)
But that isn't what I was asking for.

I ask why /2011-08-04-23-47-02/k2-categories/mens-clothing/item/50 go to home page
and /2011-08-04-23-47-02/k2-categories/mens-clothing/item/51 go to error 404

I don't have any article or link to that urls and I unistalled the K2 component


on the other hand I have the proble of can't change the alias on the articles (not the menus)

If You have removed K2 than this links should not be used at all. So I believe it was added manually. You need to show me an exact place where this link is placed.

Do You have any message why it cannot be changed ? Isn't it because it was used in other place or something ?

The links was in the home page as in the demo because I intall the quickstart archive
I removed the links and the component because I don't need it and create new content with new links

My problem is that, Search bots have in theirs index data the urls and I want the visitors go to the 404 page not found insted of the home page
Then the search bots will index the 404 page insted the home page and the visitors stop coming with that links

Ok. I'm totaly lost now If You do not have this link so how people can use it ? I need to know where You have found it in order to learn what can be wrong. If it's being listed in sh404 component for example You will be able to add a redirection there, but if it's on a google than You just need some time to update the informations about the website. I really want to help You, but I simply do not understand where the problem is.

I don't know how can I have more than 3000 loads a day for URLS that I haven't in my page

I think it's because when I installed the quickstart some search bot index that urls and no matter how much time passes now because when the bot come back to check the url it see the home page (instead the error 404) so it thinks "URL it's ok"

I don't know where is de sh404 component I only find the "redirect" component, as you can see (You still have access) there are some links but there are disabled
Could be there the problem?

I think now it's more easy to understand isn't it?

For the moment I'm including "deny from" some Ip's whit hundreds acces to the same url in the .htaccess file
And my hosting put in black list all urls whit the string "33-dolce-gabbana-falla" so all urls whith that shows the 403 forbidden page
In January my server get down for to many access

Ok. What I understand now is that it may be not related with what You have on Your site at all, but as You've mentioned the link could have been fixated in some other website.

In such case I would use this on Your adventage With for example sh404 component or in htaccess to redirect it to frontpage, but if it's a single IP than I believe it may be some bad activity performed by bots and what You did is the best solution in this situation.
