Hi,

I'm using Joomla 3.1.1 and gk_fashion 3.9 and I get error 403 when saving template configuration. I get that error also with Joomla .5 and gk_fashion original. I don't get that error if I use an standard template.

Any solution to this issue? TIA

Probably the problem lies in server configuration.
Please check magic_quotas and display_errors first.

Server configuration is:
display_errors=on
magic_quotes=off

And it can not be changed (shared hosting) so I should need a way to circunvent the effect of those settings.

More cues?

TIA

This is not true. Shared hosting in most cases gives You a way to change php parameters. One way is through the admin panel of hosting server, other through php.ini. Ask your hosting provider how to change display_errors to off. If that change wont help, please write back.

Hi, what I was meaning is that those settings (including display_errors) can not be changed in this particular provider, as they forbid changes to the standard settings for their hostings (no .htaccess nor php.ini changes are available).

So, fixes to this problem should be done having in mind the value display_errors=1.

More cues?

TIA Antonio.

If hosting company doesnt meet joomla specification - I have no idea how could I help You :(.
Our templates takes fromm Joomla as much as it gives, so 100% of requirements and suggested settings must met.

Well, I acquainted with the need of patching some source in Joomla or GK, easy to do -PHP source, editable with Notepad- and I done it a lot, to fix soooo many bugs thay have, prior to an update that does the work. This issue could be fixed patching PHP source if I knew where to do it.

I hoped to get help from here, but maybe I should do an elaborate debugging myself to know where to patch.

Rgds, Antonio.

Ill ask someone more advanced, but sadly we are not core developers - we provide templates that uses already implemented functions, so when there is a problem with hosting company, we can't do much about it :(.

Hi

This is a very odd problem. Noone has reported it before. I would start from asking Your host provider if there is no extra configuration put to magic quotes. I've see a site where even if magic quotes were showing to be off was used.
