How to get this theme to work

Was told by the pre sales department the themes are very much workable out of the box and since I've been denied my money back for this completely useless product and still being an experienced Wordpress user I'd like to know if anybody has got this theme (or any other Gavick Wp theme) to work on an up and running installation without having to completely strip the site down regarding plugins and extras?!

I don't want it to look like the demo I want and expect it to W O R K out of the box!!

But it does work out of the box. What is out of the box depends what package You choose.
If You use theme on working site, it will work only with its basic settings, if You are looking for more advanced setups, then configuring of elements needs to be done.
Sometimes its easier to install quickinstall on a side place and compare the settings and configurations - this way You can enable only the elements You are looking for.

REALLY!! You seriously think people A have time for that and B expect that's the solution when getting informed by a (obvisoulsy lying)presales department the themes work out of the box!

WordPress doesnt provide a way to save widget settings - so You need to reproduce those settings manually.
Everything else can be done semi automatically.

This theme needs some time and effort to make it look and feel as you want. Maybe it is not as “out of the box” –theme as some other WP-themes, but it offers many useful and interesting options. This is definitely the best theme I have ever used in Wordpress and I have been very satisfied with the theme itself and with the support.

So don´t give up so easy hannapanna – read the instructions and load the quickinstall–package in to you localhost (if you don´t want to load it in to your site). There you can see, how all the widgets are configured in the demo.

The logic of the GavernWP is not the fastest one to learn, but when you learn it, you can do very nice things with it.

This theme does not work full stop!

One of many many things that is not working is the so called responsive part of the theme. It completely breaks down the layout and on most smartphones it's not even close to look professional whatever tweaking you do!

Another part not working is the Google analytics cause as soon as the theme is installed and you use Google analytics via the News theme you have no analytics no more. Turn on your old theme (praise WPZOOM) and it works like a charm! I could go on all day with malfunctions of this piece of junk!

To have presellers promoting it as an out of the box theme is a bloody joke and the money spent on it completely and only benefit the seller!

Go figure I could not get any kind of preview of an up and running site during my presales talks cause probably the poor idiots who purchased this theme just like myself are now back on tweaking their old layouts and themes from other more serious Wordpress developers!

Sorry to hear that... We have a lot of users who had no problems installing template and getting it to work correctly.
With others, we help as much as we can here, but without correctly asked questions we cant help You much. If You could split your problems to separate threads and ask about each, then we can talk about how You could get things to work.
