Hi,

I've noticed some strange behaviour in the display of the News theme regarding Firefox and Chrome:

- The Search box appears on the left side in Chrome. In Firefox, displays correctly on the right side.
- In both Chrome and Firefox, the "inset" area displays on the left :?:

You can see it here:

Hi,

I've checked Chrome and Firefox (Mac and Windows) with your site and:

1. I don't see a searchbox at all (did you set this widget?)
2. Inset, you mean sidebar? I see only a sidebar and in every cases is on the right.

Did you change options from Template Options -> Layout? Maybe try to refersh your browser's cache.

It's strange....

I have active widgets in Homepage in the following widget areas: Sidebar, Inset, Mainbody, Search and Social. And I see all of them in bot Firefox and Chrome, but now the search box is on the right in both cases.

BUT I see the Inset area on the left when it is supossed to display on the right between Mainbody and Sidebar. Am I right? :?:

Yes, by default Inset area should be displayed on the right between Mainbody and Sidebar.

Could you send ma a PM with backend access to your website? then i'll be able to check this..

BTW it's your new website right? If so, why you didn't install a quickstart package (then you'll have all widgets and contents configured)

Yes, it's my new website. But I thought it could be easier to build it from scratch adding widgets and using the demo configuration as a reference. And in general I think it is.

I've just sent you a PM with acces to the backend.

It's ok now, your Template Options -> Layout -> Inset column position option was set "on the left". I changed it to the right and it's ok, with the searchbox too.

Oh....my fault.

Regarding the search box in the left side in Chrome, I think what the problem was....It only happens when you have the zoom set to 125% or higher (at least with my 1440*900 px screen). So, nothing special about that.

Thanks!
