How To Reduce The Height Of The Header

Hi, I just bought the News theme. I managed to change the colors through CSS but how can I change the height of the header section to be lower? I would like to include a banner covering the whole width and below it the feature slide show. Please help.

Thanks for your response Cyberek. Here is the screen shot of the site. I am developing the site on my local host before I upload it to my server.

Sorry the site is not yet live! I am developing it on my computer with Xampp before I upload it to my hosting server. The site only displays "Site Under Construction".

Please edit: /templates/gk_news/css/override.css and add at its end:

Code: Select all: #gkBannerTop {padding: 10px 0;}

Reduce first value to your taste, but this is only theoretical, without access to a live site this might not work at all.

Remember to enable "CSS override" in template settings - advanced section.
