Everytime i try and activate this theme it comes up as everything just being a blank white screen....news 2 works but news 1 never works i dont know why it uploads and loads into theme directory but never displays.

Hi iadeo,
Do you have GK Tabs plugin installed? If so, please deactivate it for a moment and then check your theme again.

Yes i have it. Thanks for your quick reply. Log is : Cannot redeclare class GK_Tabs_Widget in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/News/gavern/widgets.tabs.php on line 270

it's because News theme have GK Tabs widget built in the theme, but you have also our separated GK Tabs plugin installed and there's a conflict. If you are going to use News theme, removing GK Tabs plugin should solve your problem.
