Template errors with a Russian content

Widgets: WHAT'S HOT, MOST POPULAR do not work correctly with the Russian language!
Example:
http://www.iwatch-club.ru (widget "Popular - WHAT'S HOT" shows only 2 instead of 4 material, sometimes emerge strange symbols...)

In a version: 1.4.3 there are more problems in the template!
Example:
http://www.premiata.net

A similar situation with any other template!
I would be grateful for your help.
