Hi!
I'm using the Simplicity template on Joomla! 3.2 at archipielago.me/sitio

When I configure and activate the multi-language plug-in "System - Language Filter" the default home changes and the header and main menu modules change their "normal" behavior (main menu becomes fixed).

Can you help me? What should I do to make the plug-in work and locate the module in the top of every page?
The multi-language plug-in is deactivated right now.

Hi

Problem is with a lack of page class suffix. Each language has it's own homepage with a different menu item id, but class suffix is only attached to a regular homepage and not the 2 other languages. Please add ID of language homepages and this will fix the problem.

Well, your help in this thread and your reply in a different post about the language module position seem to work: archipielago.me/sitio
We'll keep working to check everything's ok.

Thanks a lot :)

Hi

I went check my mailbox after seeing this message and guess what. There was no mail with access again, so I took some time and dug throught 100k of spam mails and there it was. I found both mails.

So I checked, but You are using Rockwall template and this thread and solution is for Simplicity template. The page class suffix in this case is "gridpage". I have used it in template settings, but I do not see much of a difference. Please explain what this problem with multilangauge You have, becuase it's clearly not the issue mentioned in this thread.

OK, I've figured it out - it's the default menu item ID for each language that needs to be entered on the template page.

For other users struggling with this, you will also need to create multiple modules for each language and assign the language to each on the module settings.

Hi

Yes, that's it. Some of the modules can be used for all languages at the same time. It's a matter of how it was designed and if it has a build-in multilanguage functionality.
