Use FontAwesome with Simplicity Template

Hi.
I want to be able to use FontAwesome icons with the Simplicity template.
Could you tell me how to make the template recognize the FontAwesome CSS?

Hi.
If this or any other template don't have FontAwesome in-build -> you have to install plugin which give you such a possibility.
For example: NS Font Awesome or JFontAwesome -- you will find them on JED.

Hi.
I still have the problem

I installed the NS Font Awesome plugin and copied the fonts files to my Simplicity installation just as in the Creativity template.
I can't make the FontAwesome icons to display in any of the 2 versions (icon-xxx or fa-xxx).

Is there any additional step to follow?

You have to do exactly all steps:
Step 1: enable System - NS Font Awesome plugin
Step 2: using HTML mode in editor insert code with all class'es . Most Joomla editors will strip out tags when you save. To work around this issue you should either disable the editor or be sure to switch to html mode before saving or configure your editor not to clean html on save.

Step 3: an example html string to insert an icon:

Code: Select all: <i class="fa fa-bar-chart-o fa-4"></i>
