Simplicity Joomla 3, main menu is "twinkling"

Hello,

I bought Simplicity for Joomla 3 and the main menu is "twinkling" when I scroll (up and down).
The problem is only with Simplicity for Joomla 3 version. Simplicity for Joomla 2 if working fine with all browsers.

Original install from my gavick acount. No modification. Nothing added.

Tested with the problem:

- Safari, Opera, Chrome for OSX
- IE, Edge, Chrome on Windows
- Safari mobile on iPad

Tested without problem :

- Firefox for OSX
- Firefox fot Windows

I really need your help. I bought the template to update a Joomla 2.5 customer website -> Joomla 3.

I've noticed the same problem and can add Explorer on Windows Phone (8.1) as another 'twinkler'.

A template only properly working with Firefox is not a good thing.

Please do not bump Your own post. It only changes date of last activity and takes me longer to get to it.

Use this code in override.css for meanwhile fix and I'll report that to programmers:

    position: fixed !important;
    top: 0 !important;
}


The fix is working for me. (CSS override must be enabled in the Extensions -> Templates -> Simplicity -> Advanced settings)
I'll check for all browsers / OS next week.

Programmers approved this fix. Apparently due to changes in some browsers rendering mechanisms some visual effects has to be changed completely. In this case it would be equal with rewriting half of the script.

The fix for #gkMenuWrap works fine but what about .imageBg which has the same problem on Microsoft Lumia mobile device? Could you please look at this too?

Below you can find short movie with the problem. Look at the background image which doesn’t move up and down smoothly but is shaking. The same issue was with menu but the fix you posted below solved this problem. How to fix the problem with background image?
