Dear Gavick Team,

im using gk simplicity with joomla on http://www.zila.de and we recently updated from 2.5 to 3.4.
The Template itself worked and works fine with 2 languages but there seems to be a problem with jquery not loading or not providing functions when i use your modules "news show pro", "metro grid" and "image show"
Example: category filtering is not working, image slides do not show up and both in metro grid and image slides the preloading element does not disappear.

Some more information: It is a clean Joomla installation and all content is build from scratch so i didn´t use any import functions.
I just recognized another problem with the breadcrumbs on the front page where the breadcrumb path should be empty:

Do you have any suggestion where to search for the error or if it accords to the server setting, template oder modules?

Hi

It's all disabled now, so I cannot see the problem, but I believe it can be because of a conflict between different jQuery versions. Fastest way to fix such issue is to install Easy jQuery plugin and set it to use local joomla jQuery library. All the other will be blocked than.

Thank you for your answer.
I installed and activated the suggested Plugin and it tells me that everything should be fine but it isn´t.
I can´t even dismiss the overlay from jquery easy by pressing the "X".

any ideas why and what to do?

The problem was caused by the amount of caching options within Joomla and the template.

Hi

Wave You left jQuery plugin runing ? It's possible it was not working because of cache stopping it or compressing with other files. Or maybe it just should use a different version.
