Followed the manual that says to put app id and secret into Facebook module and app id into template settings. However, after doing that the integration still does not work. When I click the 'Like it' button nothing is published on FB profile. When I click 'Share' button it says: 401 Unauthorized in the pop-up that is displayed.

I'm afraid I do not understand what You have in mind. I cannot see facebook module on this page, but when I check the code there is a reference to facebook, but it's "undefined". Can You please explain it a little better ?

Sure. Sorry, I meant plugin not module.
Anyway, I've found an online guide from gavick that basically told me to put this config in - as in attached files.
But it still does not work. Clicking the share button on the article gives me this:

Hi
If 401 error is shown than this means that problem is on Facebook side. Please make sure app is configured correctly. If it's set for public and if API key is right.
