Footer solution

Hi guys,

How do I get a footer menu layout divided into categories like in http://www.gavick.com/demo/wordpress/appsprotech or http://www.gavick.com/demo/wordpress/university ?

Is it defined in the framework / widgets or do I have to write HTML and CSS entirely for this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, I was able to find the option and try out the implementation but unfortunately not doesn't look too compact.. There is lot of space between <li> elements and it doesn't look compact like your newer templates. Anyway, I think I'll have to customize it a little.
