Order of posts on front page

Hi,

In the demo install, the order of the posts on the front page is as follows;

1) 'Everything you need to know'
2) 'We turn ideas into our work'

What determines the order of the posts to be displayed? How to change the order, e.g. if we wanted to display 'We turn ideas into our work' above 'Everything you need to know'.

Oops! I just realised that the front page has been built with widgets. I saw posts also with same content so assumed the front page was built using posts.

New to this... can you please confirm if that's correct?

Yes, in the Simplicity theme you have 2 options to create frontpage;
- if you are using widgets, just drag & drop widgets do different widget areas to change order.
- if you are using posts and frontpage template, only way to change the order is change publish date of specific posts (from frontpgae category).
