Hi,

We've implemented the Storebox template for a new Dutch webshop, but now the following labels are not translated, when accessing the URL http://<domain>/component/users/?view=login.

User Name
Forgot your password?
Forgot your username?
Don't have an account?

Any idea how we can translate these labels? The Password label on the same page is translated, but I have no clue in which file these translations can be found.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Richard.

It looks like default Joomla phrases are not translated, please look at com_users.ini translation file.

I just did, but it seems the English com_users.ini file is used, although the base language for the site is set to Dutch. The labels in the login dialog from the My Account button on the top of the page is translated to Dutch correctly, but if I type a wrong password, I'm redirected to the http://www.fuxdeliacosmetics.nl/compone ... view=login, which shows the labels in English. I haven't seen this problem on any other website, since these don't use the dialog for login purposes, but use the default Joomla login module or Virtuemart login.

Any idea how this could happen and what we can do to fix this? We're on Joomla 2.5.22, Virtuemart 2.6.6 and use Storebox v.3.11.1vm. Frontend and backend have English and Dutch installed, Dutch being the standard language for FE and BE. Content is set to Dutch only.

Regards,

Richard.

This redirect URL is a default Joomla login form so all phrases should be in com_users.ini file so maybe your Dutch translation package don't modify this area.

Understood, but both the English and Dutch file contain the same labels (both 144 lines), so for example the COM_USERS_LOGIN_REMIND label is available in both language files. For whatever reason the website uses the English language file for the login view (com_users.ini), regardless of the default language selected for the site (Dutch).

I have no idea what causes the issue, so any help is appreciated.

Richard.

Could you check whether the same happen on default Joomla! template like Beez ? If yes, this is totally not related with any our extension or template which means that probably your Dutch package is not working properly.

Hi,

I'm happy to say it was a Joomla problem. As mentioned the site was running Joomla 2.5.22, which showed the issue, but after an update to Joomla 2.5.24 the issue was gone. The page is now translated in Dutch without any issues.

Regards,

Richard.

Hmm, maybe it was problem with some database table or just saving the current language for some components. Thanks for sharing your solution.
