Adding CMC Mailchimp signup to online shop

Hi can anyone please help. I've added the CMC Mailchimp plugin and enabled their Virtuemart module but the Sign up to newsletter box isn't showing up for new customers registering on my checkout page.

Can anyone help get the Register for newsletter box enabled somewhere on the site for this? I've also posted on the CMC Mailchimp forum but had no replies: https://compojoom.com/forum/cmc-mailchimp-for-joomla/21511-adding-the-newsletter-tick-box-to-checkout
