In template settings -> Menu section you can enable and disable menu animations.

Got it!

Now my 2-column menu doesn't work. I'll keep looking into this, but should there be a conflict between the two? [see Activities menu]

Because I've been hitting the menu topic, is there a reason my first top-level menu item "HOME" is invisible? My menu begins with my second top-level item.

Before enabling animations your activities menu was working fine?

Got the home page issue figured out--my bad in hiding the title.

HOWEVER, I have found that adding any animation breaks my 2-column menu. Any fix for this?

I have animation set to Slide, and both disabled, and the 2-columns work.
If I switch either the horizontal or vertical animations on the 2-columns are there, but the items are all listed long in the first column.
thanks.
