How to pass first page

Hi,

I installed template Creativity and everything is ok. But i can't pass the first page through using the components and the modules. I have tried a few things but nothing changes. So what am i doing wrong and can i not pass the introduction page and build the template.

Did you installed Quickstart or just a template?
This template is not so easy to understand. Probably that's why so many people have problems.

If you thinks is too hard to understand , for first time choose another template ...but it depends on your experience and how much time you want to spend

Remember also about this settings

Because as you can see we made 2 styles one for first page, and one for the rest.
You can disable "frontpage" and use "Creativity - Subpages" for all pages also home page.

I just installed the template. But to answer your question...i looked in template manager style and i see only creativity default and nothing else. So i am still stuck on the first page.

If you go to http://www.bv93.nl you will get the getting started page. But i want to build the website using the components and modules. There is my problem. I tried a few things but i get not a component or module published or on my website. What do i do wrong? Or do i forget something. I worked some time with joomla so iam not a absolute beginner. But this is a problem for me.

On first page I see article. I don't see any published modules.

I have just published few modules.

You have to use module position only from this template!

Now you have few modules and Single Article from Menu Manager

If you want appearance from template demo you have to:
1) Install GK modules
2) And use settings from our guide

by the way, why you use "jos_" as Joomla database prefix, you are using J3.1 not old 1.5
...do not make life easy for hackers

How can i change the prefix for database in a correct one?

for example using Akeeba Tools

Where is the position logo? It is not available for the template creativity….or is it?

Logo is built-in template, so there is not a separate module (or module position) only for this.
